Ron Paul stopped by the Piers Morgan show to blast the NSA spying program. Morgan — America’s favorite redcoat — asked Dr. Paul what he would have done if he were president.
“It wouldn’t be stopped…you’d still have your intelligence gathering, but it would be done under the law. You’d have probable cause and courts.”
Now that’s a “radical” idea. Paul went on to take aim at the administration at large.
“What he’s doing is repealing the Magna Carta. It’s not only repealing the principles of liberty, but it’s destroying the constitution. So my question should be — to all of you who defend this nonsense –- is what should the penalty be for the people destroying the Constitution?”
